Quantization : Digital Communication!!

What is Quantization??

                               
                                                    Quantization, in mathematics and digital signal processing, is the process of mapping input values from a large set (often a continuous set) to output values in a (countable) smaller set. 

                                               A device or algorithmic function that performs quantization is called a quantizer.

Quantization Noise?

                                                    Quantization noise is a model of quantization error introduced by quantization in the analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) in telecommunication systems and signal processing. It is a rounding error between the analog input voltage to the ADC and the output digitized value.
