Introduction to DC to DC Converter

Buck Boost Converter                                                                                                    The  buck boost converter is a DC to DC converter . The output voltage of the DC to DC converter is less than or greater than the input voltage.                                                   The output voltage of the magnitude depends on the duty cycle. These converters are also known as the step up and step down transformers and these names are coming from the analogous  step up and step down transformer .                ...

Difference Between Microcontrollers and Microprocessors

Difference Between Microprocessor and Microcontroller:                                                                                 Microprocessor is an IC which has only the CPU inside them. These microprocessors don’t have RAM, ROM, and other peripheral on the chip. A system designer has to add them externally to make them functional.                                             Microcontroller has a CPU, in addition with a fixed amount of RAM, ROM and other peripherals all embedded on a single chip. At times it is also termed as a mini computer or a computer on a single chip.  Some manufacturers are ATMEL, Microchip, TI, Freescale, Philips, Motorola etc.  ...

Introduction to Quartz Clock:How Digital Watch Works!!

Quartz Clock or Digital Watch:                                                  Inside a quartz clock or watch, the battery sends electricity to the quartz crystal through an  electronic  circuit.                                                                         The quartz crystal oscillates (vibrates back and forth) at a precise frequency: exactly 32768 times each second. The circuit counts the number of vibrations and uses them to generate regular electric pulses, one per second.                                                ...
